Café Zeitsprung is a charming spot located in Trier, Germany, offering a delightful dining experience. Situated in the Electoral Palaces park, it provides a mesmerizing view of the surroundings. Whether you're enjoying brunch on Sundays or having a chilled beer with German salad, this café offers a peaceful and scenic setting. The outdoor seating allows guests to bask in the beauty of the park while savoring fresh and tasty food.

Perfect spot to grab a bite and/or a drink in the palace’s gardens: the homemade lemonade is nice and refreshing and our waitress was super nice!

Don't go there! The outside looked nice, so we decided to check it out. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. We waited for more than half an hour for some pancakes and cheesecake. When I asked about the delay, they were really rude, saying, "It'll come when it comes."When our order finally showed up, it was all wrong. We told them, but they just walked away and left the wrong food on our table. I had to go back inside to set things right, and they only took the wrong dish and didn't do anything more.We waited again, hoping to get our correct order, but it never came. The staff didn't seem to care at all, and they didn't even ask what we wanted. When we wanted to leave, the bill took forever, and to top it off, they told us they only accepted cash, which they hadn't mentioned before. When I complained, the staff just laughed at me. It was incredibly rude.In short, I wouldn't recommend going there. The service is just terrible.

Great location, tasty cakes, good coffee. One of the waiters seemed to be very overworked, she should work on her people skills. At the end if the day a nice experience.

Nice place for small rest. We came in from Museum side. But it's also possible come in from outside. In sommer it's nice sit outside. There is very nice park 😉

Avoid at all costs! We tried getting a table inside, even though it was dirty from previous guests. Even the chairs and the floor were just nasty. We waited, but it wasn't cleaned, nobody came to help us. On our way out we then found a clean table to sit down, only to be approached by a rude waitress with eyes that shot fire (they were as big as the plates she had to clean) and no people skills, saying she needed the table. We made a joke that we needed it too, but it only infuriated her. Due to the lack of hospitality (it was actually hostility) we left, never to return here again. The people that did get a table here looked bored out of their heads, scrolling their phones, waiting for drinks or food that apparently takes forever to arrive.Hopefully this review will save many a soul from this disastrous experience.

Located in Trier, one of the oldest cities of Germany. Lovely hangout joint to have a chilled beer while enjoying a German salad and peaceful surrounding. Beautiful view from where you get to sit in the middle of the garden and in front of the pond, which is full of ducks. Food is fresh and tasty, services was vary good and fast amidst a busy day, and the Bitburger tastes batter 🙂. Will visit there again.

The lady in charge was very rude. She yelled at the waiters that they were not well organised at the terrace and at the customers that they were not allowed to move the chairs. She even pushed me aside and said to wait until the table was ready. So in the end we left without even sitting or ordering!

Al final decidimos irnos.(Translated by Google)We were at the park and we wanted to order some drinks. The terrace was full, so we stood outside next to a table; we wanted to order inside (because no one had served us) and a waitress came out to yell (in front of everyone) that we couldn't order inside, that we had to wait for our order to be taken and blah blah. In the end I didn't understand everything because it was in German, but his attitude said it all. In the end we decided to leave.

I have traveled all over Europe for years, eaten at dozens and dozens of cafes and I have never experienced service so poorly before. I'm pretty easy going, I rarely complain even when I would have been justified to do so.The staff was incredibly rude to me, my wife, and our friends. A piece of bread and crossisant took well over and hour and a half to come to our table. When we asked after 45 minutes if it was still coming, just to make sure there hadnt been a mistake, we got a whole rude explanation that boiled down to the food comes when it comes, there are other people more important than you. Numerous tables around us received food before we did even though they came later. Avoid this place like the plague. It has a great location, but don't let it fool you.
