“I want everyone to have the freedom to express their hair in ways that make them feel good, so I began by creating the essentials for hair and scalp health.”
The vision for the collection, according to Knowles-Carter, is to offer an inclusive hair-care line to help “dispel hair myths and misconceptions on all side.” Knowles-Carter’s mother, Tina Knowles, a longtime salon owner and hairstylist, joins the brand as a vice-chairwoman to bring her 40 years of industry experience to the collection.
Launching with a Foundation Collection, the Cécred lineup includes: a Clarifying Shampoo & Scalp Scrub; Hydrating Shampoo; Moisturizing Deep Conditioner; Reconstructing Treatment Mask; Fermented Rice & Rose Protein Ritual; Moisture Sealing Lotion; and Nourishing Hair Oil.
The price: $42 to $72.
